Don’t thing that I have stopped running since you haven’t heard about it. I am still out there trying to run my best, but instead of it getting easier, it is getting harder. The more I run the more tired I am. The more I walk, the more it hurts. But I am still out there giving it my best. From what I read, my body is trying to throw up the running. Hopefully after a few more weeks, I’ll be better then ever!
It’s that time of year. Turkeys are in the oven, the Wizard Of Oz is on five television channels, and our families are just about on our last nerves. But this is Thanksgiving! What else do you expect? Enjoy your turkeys, love your family, and think of watching the Wizard Of Oz to the Dark Side of the Moon. You’ll have a whole new prospective on life and doing acid.
Happy Gobble Day!
Jodi over at the Creative Jar was kind enough to include one of A Punkin Card Company’s greeting cards in their Full Of Thanks feature! Please hop on over and check out the feature and leave your comments. Anyone who supports handmade is a friend of mine, and I would like to do what I can to support them.

Beth over at Houston’s Weekly Chic has been so good to me and my little company over the years and she had done it again! She has featured my Holiday Deer greeting cards which showcase a huge trend this holiday season, pink! So stop on by and read the review, then hop on over and get a set or two for yourself. This isn’t your grandma’s holiday card!
A Punkin Card Company was out this past weekend was the WHAM, Winter Holiday Arts Market, handmade and fine arts market. It was an amazing turnout. The first night, Friday, was the opening night plus cocktail reception. Lots of people but most importantly, lots of shoppers! I was afraid I was going to run out of merchandise.
The second day, Saturday, was an all day event. There were shoppers from 11am to 8pm, all ready ti support artists and handmade goods. I sold 1/2 of my entire inventory and the Holiday cards were almost gone.
It was great to see some familiar faces and meet some really great new friends. Hello Lucky was out, so was Feto Soap, and Apt 3305. All great handmade businesses supporting Houston!
That’s right. A Punkin Card Company is out on the town and will be at WHAM, Winter Holiday Art Market, on Friday, November 20th (today) and Saturday, November 21st (tomorrow). Come by and see lots of artists and enjoy the opening cocktail recpetion, today, from 5pm to 10pm. Lots of food, music, and of course, cocktails!
Tomorrow will feature an all day artist shop-o-ramma! Open from 11am to 8pm. Lots of items to buy, see, and dream about! I hope you see you all there!
That’s right kids, A Punkin Card Company is back on Artfire. After a much needed rest from multiple storefronts, I finally re-opened the store on Artfire to see if it draws in some new customers. So stop by and check out the shop. Send me your thoughts, advice, or comments. I would love to know what my readers think!
Yes, the vacation pictures are finally up!! Check out the entire trip here.
Today I am going to try running again. After talking with some friends, a guy who works at a running store, and reading all I can read about shin splints, I am going to give it another shot. From what I have found out, it’s beginner’s pains and I need to stretch some more before we run. Also, concrete versus ground does not seem to make a difference.
I am also going to exercise on our elliptical machine twice a week for 20 minutes each time. I love this machine. No impact and I can sing as loud as I want!! Plus, I am hoping this gives me the weight loss boost that I need. Seems like the cruise we just took has caught up with me. Also, Yoga twice a week. think that is enough?
What are your exercise tips?
